PHPBB is it the same as php scripts on my site??

ok i know this might sound dumb,

but is the phpBB using scripts like written in my page source?

reason i ask is im tring to get the site looking fluid including the forum and i cannot get it to work my style.css.

any help would be great

phpBB is pretty much its own system. I think you'd have to write a theme for it to match the rest of your site.

In addition, you should create a new database for a test phpbb, and then go behind the instructions to install phpbb into a folder beneath your site root. NOT inside the cgi-bin folder.

phpbb is already installed, but i want to change the css so it mirrors my website layout
