Did anyone use phpMyAdmin? I have a problem, which said that it cannot access MySQL database.

I don't have it on this machine right now so I'm going to try to help you from memory...

There is a file called config.inc.php3 in the phpMyAdmin directory.
Within that file you need to add your servername, username, and password. Then you should be all set to go.

I had the same problem, then i changed my hostname from "extremeforums.com" to "localhost" in the config file and it worked fine.

I am using it on both my web server, and on my local machine with PWS4.0

Have no problems with it..

I'd say to double check your config file, and make sure you have the right info in there.

My initial problem was that my ISP connection requires me to use a non-standard port. I appended the domain with ":4000" (the port) and it works fine.

Hope this helps!
