A little more info would help us to help you. "Please Help" doesn't say much. For instance, are you a rank beginner? Or are you using the language but having difficulty getting what you want done with it? Have you read any books, done any reading online?

You could read the new user guide
HEY! YOU! Read the New User Guide and Forum Rules
"They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." -Benjamin Franklin
"The greatest tragedy of this changing society is that people who never knew what it was like before will simply assume that this is the way things are supposed to be." -2600 Magazine, Fall 2002

i would say practise? create a test site (or a proper one) do funky things, play with background processes, use an API (google maps or something), use OOP.., use the GND (or something) to create images, etc etc.. is the best way to learn I think..
lol.. look at me giving advice, I should follow this too!

From the lack of response or interest in the responses received, it doesn't sound like the OP is all that interested in learning.
But - to add more. If the OP is just a beginner, I wouldn't recommend all those complex things as a starter-project. Simply get a tutorial of some kind and start with the old 'hello world' kind of thing. Afterall he/she may not even have programming skills, let alone php knowledge.
