Possible to combine Lower bound of Wilson with time-based ranking?

Hello,

I had Lower bound of Wilson implemented into my PHP site in order to rank posts based on the number of thumbs up/thumbs down those posts received.

However, I don't believe Wilson takes into account when the post was made. For instance, I want to favor newer posts so that the newer ones have a better chance of ranking high.

Have you heard of any way to do such as thing?

Thanks a lot
