    Hi.. How do I print the content of a filerow(split by : ) back to a html form updating the data?
    ex. I got this text file created with php:
    name:adress hone:date etc.
    " " " "

    I want to bring one of these rows back to the html document with the fields allready filled in with the rowinformation.

    Hope you can see what I mean....

    It's very easy to do so,

    $fp = fopen ("users.txt","r");
    while (list ($name, $adress,&phone, $date) = fscanf ($fp, "%s:%s:%s:%sn")) {
    if($name="bart") print "Bart lives at ".$adress;
    }
    fclose($fp);

    better check php manual more carefully
