I do not find any debugger for PHP. I mean a real debugger with breakpoints, watches and things like that.
Even if PHP can do great things, how is it possible to work seriously without a debugger?
So does anyone know if such a debugger exists?

I don't think a built-in debugger can handle breakpoints or watches !! Maybe it can be used to do that or maybe I didn't catch what you have in mind! Do somebody have some explanations or other solutions????

build your own - write variables etc to a text file or to form fields in a frame , whatever.

you can work seriously with php without a debugger as its basically pretty easy.

Of course I could create a debugger. You can also write C programs without any debugger by using printf statements. I asked about a debugger to avoid to work as in the 70s!
Do I have to conclude that such a debugger must be written or am I the only one to need such a tool? Could other people tell me if they would appreciate a development environment for PHP?

I agree with zonzon. More sophesticated debugger will be useful for development.

not tying to be argumentative zonzon,
For C I would appreciate a debugger - I can not see where I would need one for PHP, although I work mostly in simple page generation and database work.

What sort of projects are you working on?
