I've searched around but can't find any info on this one. I'm using Ultra-Edit and I am trying to get to the beginning of each line and replace text. However when I use the regular expression '%' it skips the first line for some reason. I guessing the % expression looks for text after the line break '^p'? Any ideas of how to get at the beginning of the first line of a text doc using regex.
Cheers
Tom Kennedy
