    Hi,

    So I'm making drop down menus each with a MySQL-stored value selected. No probs (built from tips on other posts, etc. If you want it, just ask).

    EXCEPT, I have created an array of US states using 2-letter abbreviations. Oregon is OR - which kills the function because OR is reserved.

    I have tried backslashes and quotes to escape the word - no luck. The function does work because I've used ORE instead for now. How might I escape this so it will work using OR as an array value?

    TIA,
    Jay

    $TheWordOR = chr(79) . chr(82);
    echo $TheWordOR;
