retrieving cookies

I'm new to php... obviously! LOL

Is there a way to retrieve a cookie based on a form submitted through this ubb registration? What I want to do is have our board members users name show up on our homepage... for example

"Welcome $UserName"

any ideas? Thanks!

No, It's a security issue that you can't read cookie set by another domain. Think of what could happen if every web site could read all of the cookies on your machine!

Of course, that is how it is supposed to work. Go to http://www.peacefire.org/security/i...name=amazon.com to see differently!
