    Search Page

    Hi,

I'm not a PHP guru so I was thinking about using a content management system like word press, Drupal, or PHP-Nuke as a search page to search a mysql db and display results.

The rest of the site is static can this be done or does the whole site need to be a content management system?

If so, how else can I setup this search page to search a mysql db?

    Thanks

    Hi,

search the database for what? If your whole content resides in static HTML documents, then searching the database obviously won't be very useful.

Maybe you should tell us what exactly you wanna do. What's your website about?
The 6 worst sins of security ē How to (properly) access a MySQL database with PHP

Why canít I use certain words like "drop" as part of my Security Question answers?
There are certain words used by hackers to try to gain access to systems and manipulate data; therefore, the following words are restricted: "select," "delete," "update," "insert," "drop" and "null".
