    The easiest way to do this is to interogate the kernal with a perl/DBI interface to a Mysql database of the kernel options. Go to user/var/what/are/you/talking/about/ and run the script called i'm_lost.php. Do a core dump and take lines 223,345,132,4353, and 4456. Change all of the W's to X's and save it as a .pdf file. Reboot your computer. Delete Linux and install Windows 2000 repeatedly until your computer locks up for good.

    I will assume you are talking about the db_sequence table using PHPLIB, in whcihc case you would need to have a sequence name and starting id in the table and from your php you would call $nextid = $db->nextid("sequencename");
