PHP-General - Server error email not sent

PHP-General - Server error email not sent
My web site has stopped sending emails through my forms. I am not sure if this was a server php update that caused it. The error is: Server Error - the form was processed successfully, but email could not be sent. The website was working great, but has not been used regularly for a couple years. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check the web server error logs so as you can see exactly what it is complaining about...

getting this error, but image is there.
File does not exist: /home/thecleve/public_html/404.shtml, referer: (URL address )/contacts/confirmation.php
