    Session timeout when not using sessions

    I am not using sessions and I still get timed out! I use cookies and the users experience session timeouts. How can I disable/stop these timeouts since I don't use sessions?

    [Edit]
    One of the scripts had in the beginning:
    PHP Code:
    if(!session_id())
    session_start();
    even though sessions are not used. Could that have caused the timeouts?

    "Session timeout" is not a thing. That is, it's not a general-purpose term that everyone uses the same way.

    When you say "session timeout," what do you mean? Does your application say "your session has timed out"? If so, find that message and see why.
