    OK i found POSIX_setuid function and it says that you should have appropriate priviliges to run the function. I tried a script temp.php3 saved in default directory of my LINUX server and gave it root as owner and root as the group now why do this give the error message Permission denied: the syntax i am giving is:
    $var=posix_setuid(0);
    Original Syntax is:
    bool posix_setuid(int uid);

    Any help wil be Highhhhhlllly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
