    Simple problem

can $_SESSION[] be used with $_POST[] or $_GET[] ? something like.....

    $_SESSION['something'] = $_POST['somethingelse']?

or $_SESSION[] can only be used for using simple string dynamically? like........

$_SESSION['something'] = 'something else'? basically i have some data in dropdown list and another text field in which i store dates of my webpage's form which i want to use dynamically to another webpages and also to the database ........which is the most simple way to do it?
