    Suddenly localhost not working


    Suddenly localhost not working, same in every browser. I cant really restart the computer I have a million aps open. What to do?

    This issue has nothing to do with the browser. You don't need to restart the server, just try restarting httpd. Assuming this is a Linux server, use:

    sudo service httpd restart

    If Windows then I think (I'm not a Windows server admin) you use admin tools->services to restart WINhttp.

    restart apache
    check your hosts file
    flush your DNS cache
