I always want to test my php scripts without connecting my computer to the internet. but how can I install php3 or 4 on my windows 98 pc? And how can I look at the script in the borwser, like I do it on the internet?
    Is that possible?
    Thanks a lot!

you'll have to install a server and php on your own computer.

i've found that omni is the easiest server to install, and it works great for testing php and databases.

it's free, also, and installs php4 automatically when you install it.

it will install some directorys, anything you want to look at in the browser, you should put in the httpd/htdocs/ directory.
