How would I go about upgrading php4b3 to php4.0 release? I realize I could remove apache and php and reinstall, but it seems there should be an easier way. I am running FreeBSD 4.0 and apache. I am somewhat new to all this so any help would be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

You will have to re-install PHP, as far as I know there is not an "upgrade" process.

Just follow the simple instructions that come in the PHP INSTALL file.
