    use mysqldump

    On your computer:

    mysqldump -uuser -p database_name > file.sql

    upload file, then on server:

    mysql -uuser -p database_name < file.sql

    beans-curry,
please do not double post -- you have wasted my time when responding to your post in the MySQL forum when your question was already answered here, and please stay on-topic -- your question clearly has nothing to do with PHP
