I want to design a script in PHP that will make an HTTPS call to another server. I am using a web hosting company, and they will not install OpenSSL because of a configuration incompatibility. Is there any other way to make an HTTPS call from within PHP server scripts? Thanks in advance.

Switch host. Incompatibility should be their excuse.

    Probably not

    But still, you need openssl.
