Hi, I've created a brilliant intranet-page on a Linux (RedHat) machine, using PHP3. But I've got a small problem. My future viewers all have a login on a NT domain and it would extremely convenient when those logins and passwords could be used to access my page.

Is there an easy way to validate a username and a password on a NT domain?

With regards and thanks in advance for any help,

Roald

I haven't tried this so I don't know if this would work, BUT.

If you have Exchange server running it runs an LDAP/IMAP type service that you might beable to use to validate users.

Open an LDAP connection to the NT/Exchange server using the users name and password. If you get a connection then you have a valid username/pw combination, otherwise the connection number will be 0.
