i cannot use virtual() on my website and i'm wondering how to include a parsed file (.shtml for example) in my .php one.

Someone told me about passthru but i can't figure how to make it work...

    Example : i was using :

    ? virtual ("news/news.shml"); ?

    and i tried :

    ? $o = passthru ("/home/dir/news/news.shtml"); print $o; ?

but this doesn't work... Got an idea ?

as far as i know virtual is only
available on apache, but i heard some
rumors about that it doesn't work..

anyway, u should only be able to use virtual
with server side include files.. but why don't u just use include ?

You could also write a small parser and ad your own SSI tags to the document, for more info on that email me.
