In the midst of working on my site, I received this error when connecting via phpMyAdmin:

"Warning: MySQL Connection Failed: Too many connections in lib.inc.php3 on line 255"
    Error

Is this something my hosting company needs to know about, or something I fix myself?

    Thanks,
    Mike

Your hosting company must increase the max_connections parameter in the my.cnf file on the server.
BTW check you are closing the connection at the end of the script.

That may be the problem. I didn't realize I had to close the connection after opening it. Thanks, Mike.
