Hey, I am planning on buying a domain name, to offer visitors web based email... The domain will be gtnmail.com.

However, I really need a web based email script. Something like hotmail is what I'm aiming for. Users have to be able to sign up on the web, and login to their account, exactly like with hotmail.

If you could please help me find a script like this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Well, if you feel like challanging yourself a web based email client that uses the local mail spools (on a Unix machine) isn't that hard to write.

I wrote one to teach myself PHP and it works pretty well (I haven't implemented attaching files or anything yet). The hardest part about it is effectivly parseing the messages out of the mail spool file that sendmail creates.

I can give you some pointers or example code if you do decide to embark on this venture.

    Good luck.

Well to tell you the trusth, I'm not very good at PHP, I just started. I'm pretty good at setting things up, I just haven't had the time to learn PHP fully.
