I'm redoing a orderingsystem, where I suddently have discovered that no more than 127 pcs. can be ordered.

Have I chosen a wrong kind of variable? or what can possibly be wrong?

You've probably used a tinyint as an auto_increment field somewhere. tinyint (signed) has a range of -128 to 127. You can change it to unsigned to change the range to 0-255 and/or change the type to a larger integer type.

Thanks but what should I look for and what should I replace it with if I want a larger integer type.
(and where do people find these information?)

    thanks!

This would be a field in your database. You can change it to mediumint unsigned or int unsigned. This information can be found in your database manual. If you are using mysql you can get the manual at www.mysql.com
