    Please tell me if anything is wrong in the following code.

    function thank_you(){
    $1Content = '<p><br>
    <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Your form input has been processed. Thank you, '. $Name .', for your contribution. Please click on a link to further browse our site.</font></p>';
    $1filename = "stuffTemplate.html";
    $1fd = fopen($1filename, "r");
    $1blah = fread($1fd, filesize ($1filename));
    fclose ($1fd);
    $1convert = str_replace("{CONTENT}", $1Content, $1blah);
    $1final = str_replace("{title}", "Thank You for your Feedback.", $1convert);
    echo $1final;
    }

    I keep getting the following error.

    Parse error: parse error, expecting `STRING' or `'{'' or `'$'' in /web/sites/blah/abc.php3 on line 97

    Please help.

    are the parantes.. paratheses.. {} them things!
    part of the string you are replacing? else why are they there? - not sure if this would be a problem or not, but you do not need them otherwise.

    Sorry CKC - bad English humour about the fact that I could not remember how to spell 'parenthesis', probably does not translate well... even into English!

    Glad you fixed the problem.
