I've installed php3 using the apache module method. How come on my test.php3 page (where i include the phpinfo() command), it states that I'm using php version 3.0.8 when I installed php 3.0.9 on my system? Plus, the BUILD DATE would not refresh if I install php 3.0.9 again (even after i clean up the cache). Thanks!!!

Did you get the source package straight from Maybe your source package is mislabeled...

What type of system are you running Apache on? It's possible that your Apache already had 3.0.8 compiled in and that your 3.0.9 installation didn't work correctly for some reason...

I've never seen a PHPINFO page lie...

They're up to 3.0.11 now, so maybe you just want to start fresh with a new package from

    Good luck!
