I've set up Apache & mySQL fine but I can't seem to setup php3. The .ini file is in the right spot and I've followed the readme files, but nothing happens yet. I don't get an error message when viewing the .php3 page on localhost but I don't get any output...
Any ideas ??

You must edit your srm.conf or httpd.conf to configure Apache to work with the PHP CGI binary.
ScriptAlias /php3/ "c:/path-to-php-dir/"
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php3 .phtml

I tried that but now my Apache service
shuts down when I try to start it.

I also had that problem, and here is what I did:
- Start a command prompt window
- Go to the dir with apache.exe
- Run apache.exe (by typing the name)
You now see an error message indicating which linenumber in the php.ini you should look at. (You dont see this message when you run Apache from the start menu.)
Hope this helps,
