IS there any program out there that can check my syntax of my php code while i'm writing it? Not logic errors but just errors with the code =)

Yes, you're missing something in Homesite.

If you go to Options-Settings and the Color Coding tab, you'll see an entry for PHP. Any files that have the extensions listed under PHP will be color coded accordingly. (New documents won't be colored until you save them with the proper extension... otherwise HomeSite has no way of knowing).

You can of course add to the list of extensions if you don't use the standard ones.

If you go to you'll find some more PHP support files that integrate with Homesite and add tag definitions, etc.
