    Hi,

Take look at http://www.umesd.k12.or.us/php/win32install.html for a step by step instruction.

Thankyou for attempting to help, im sure that page will help me after i get php installed. I downloaded php-3.0.13-win32.zip from php.net and the zip is one exe file and a lot of dll's. When i run the exe..a dos window opens but it quickly says 'Unable to parse configuration file' and closes itself.
There is no php3_dist.ini in the zip file. Have i downloaded the wrong thing?
Any more help would be greatly appreciated.

The file in the distribution is called php3.ini-dist.
You have to rename it to php3.ini and place it in your c:windows directory, and also adjust the configuration-settings in the file.

    Succes,

I'm no forgoing authority on PHP configuration, however, after fooling around with it and the .ini file for about 2 hours, I finally got it to work. I'm using Windows 98 and would be happy to detail my setup step by step (in laymans terms) the way I understand it.
