I now use PHP 3.0.14 instead of 3.0.6 and on every page the parser put X-Powered-By: PHP/3.0.14 on the top of every *.php3 site. That destroys all my layouts i made. So what can i do to hide it?

In the PHP.INI there two lines:

    auto_prepend_file =
    auto_append_file =

Leave them empty (as above), otherwise PHP3 append or prepends a file to every executed script.

there is also another way to prepend files. The Apache Webserver can prepend files automatically to every page. i think the default files are HEADER or README ... i don't exactly know ...

Hope this will solve your problem.
