    Greetings,

    I am a fairly new in PHP3, I just wanted to know how do you make those links with php3 extensions like :
    http://www.mysite.com/mypage.php3?count=100

    or
    http://www.mysite.com/mypage.php3??s...=WinNT&IsSub=1

    Please, could anybody help me find a script on how to do this because I am a currently maintaining a big site with lots of html ssi pages and maintaining all the links is a big task.

    Best Regards,

    JM

    You just write them out, substituting variables where needed. ie:

    <a href="http://www.somewebsite.com/index.php3?var1=<? print $var1 ?>&someothervar=<? print $someothervar?>">Click here!</a>

    For the:
    <? print $var1 ?>&someothervar=<? print $someothervar?>

    Could the variables be on a separate file or
    should it be always on the page? Because when I want to modify/add a link url, I dont wanna change 100+ pages.

    In other words, ex: if "mypage.php3?page_id=1" is equals to "home.html". How and where should I modify the variable "page_id=1"???

    Sorry if I sound stupid, Im really new to this. Hope somebody will help me.

    Regards,
    JM

    Well, you could include a file (in this example common.inc) to hold the variable.

    //require the file
    require ('common.inc')

    In that could be:

    $somelink=$mysqlresult

    I'm just guessing. It could work.
