    I know this isn't really a php problem, but I guess some of you have ran into this problem too. I've made a guestbook whitch works fine, but when someone writes a really long word (>50 characters) the box in which the message is displayed in gets wider so that the long word fits in the box. There must be some sort of html-code to prevent the box from expanding. maybe <div foo="bar"> or something like that...

    well, if you mean for the output, you could use tables to keep it in the size you want, and those will wrap text.
    if you are talking about in the actual form itself (input) you'll need to set the MAXLENGTH and the SIZE of the input to the limit on the length and to get a text box to wrap, you just set WRAP="VIRTUAL"

    I meant the output, and I _am_ using tables. But the table cells seems to expand when there is a word which is wider than the cell. Not that those words exist, but you never know...
