    I send some information from one page to
    another page using following code in php3

    header ("Location: welcome.php3?q=$uid")

    Here anything work properly.But if the string
    means $uid contains string with some white space.The string After the white space it cannot retrived in another page.What can i do for retriving the hole string in the other page.

    I think ,you should use urlencode() fuction for tackling this problem.

    <?
    $uid=urlencode($uid);
    header ("Location: welcome.php3?q=$uid")
    ?>

    probably you will have to use urldecode() to decodes URL-encoded string in welcome.php3.

    Good Luck!!
