I have installed PHP4 on a win98 machine with apache 1.3, however whenever I want the php4-engine to parse a php-page I get an internal error with this message:
PHP caused an invalid page fault in
module PHP4TS.DLL at 0177:100765d6.

Does anybody know what the problem is?

I'm on a win95 machine with Apache/PHP4 installed...
I've encountered a similar error and the only oddity is that I get the problem when my PHP.ini file is named: php.ini.
Now, this error was furthered with the winOLEMainWin crashing.
When I changed the files name to php4.ini the
problem went away, and php continues to run fine.
Personally, I don't quite understand it.
Also, note that I couldn't get PHP4 to run with PWS 4.0 big time errors.

by re-naming the php.ini file, php will use default settings (crap)
open the php.ini file and remove the reference for "doc_root = "
This will stop your problem.
Well it did for me anyway.
