I will freely admit to being a linux newbie, who has not yet run into a reason to learn VI.

I would love to find a program similar to EditPlus for PHP that runs under linux.

The features I want are: PHP syntax highlighting, simultanious harddrive and ftp upload with one set of keystrokes, and bracket matching.

Is there a linux product that does this. It seems like their must be.

I use Nedit, it has syntax highlighting for most languages and adopts a lot of the familiar keyboard shortcuts found in that other OS.
Don't know about the upload portion though.
