    Hi,

    i get this error when I try to do an insert after form submission.

    Warning: SQL error: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Operation must use an updateable query., SQL state S1000 in SQLExecDirect in d:inetpubwwwrootinputres.php on line 7

    how do I fix this?

    Okay, I've fiddled around a bit with ODBC/Access 97 in Windows...
    Is your database file bound with a System DSN? I think that's what your problem is. Windows won't recognize the database if it's not associated with a DSN - you can go about setting one up in Control Panel -> ODBC Data Sources -> System DSN tab.
