I want to use it to create pages to add to my site if someone presses a button and to append data to the new page if someone presses another button.

I would like to make it so that there's a submit button and a form on one page, and when you press the submit button you generate a new page using information from the form. (page 1)
Then I want to put the html to the newpage on page 1, and on the newpage I want to be able to use a form to add more data to the newpage.
I have no idea how to automatically generate a new page, but I think I know how to get the data on it although i don't know how to save the data on it.
Would I use a variation of this:?
$newfile = fopen("/path/to/new/file/mydata.txt", "a+");
// windows paths :
// $newfile = fopen("cathtonewfilemydata.txt", "a+");
fwrite($newfile, "This is a new file.");
echo "All done!";?>
I found this when I was looking for help, but I don't exactly know how it works although I can figure it out, but I don't know if it creates a new page or just opens a different page.
