Please, no flames! I am working on a project with someone who lives and breathes Microsoft. He prefers to use COM and ADO to access a MS-SQL 7 & IIS 4 backend.

Can one write code with PHP that will be able to utilize both/either COM or ADO?

    Thanks.

php has limited COM support, check out the manual, you'll notice the lack of explanations there it seems to have been put in as an afterthought, good luck!

Thanks! I'll take a look. Perhaps future revs will have more support.
