    I have php4 with Zend Optimizer running on an NT 4.0 Server. All pages work fine with IE. But when I use Netscape I get the "SAVE" window,prompting where I want to save the file that I am trying to view. Any one have an idea?
    Thanks

    I think the header information is not passing properly to the browser.
    place the following on the top of the script and see how it works.

    <?
    header("Content-type: text/htmlnn");
    ?>

    hi,

    you can also add this header information to an .htaccess file (if you ISP allows it), or ask them to add it to the server httpd.conf file.

    the problem is that the apache server does not recognize the php extension. therefore, it interprets it as an otherwise unknown filetype and just defaults to allowing the user to save it.
