    Hello

I am a new user at devshed.com and want to have php on win98 to program locally and test the codes fast.

Would you please show me, how can I do that? Which web server and which versian of php is suitable for this case?

    Thanks a lot

    1. Go to PHP.net, get PHP4.0
    2. Go to Apache.org and get a copy of apache 1.3.12
    3. Go to Mysql.com and get the latest stable copy of MySQL 3.23.xx

also at PHP.net, go to the Projects link, and find PHPMyAdmin. It beats the heck out of the mysql command line.

At the Reg Devshed site there are installation instructions for Win32. The install is pretty straight-forward.

Or.... go to http://www.firepages.com.au/bundle.php3 and get Apache/MySQL/phpMyAdmin/PHP4 in one big zip!

    Dear Simon Wheeler
    Thanks a lot

I could do it well and now have php+mysql+apache on my win98 (a stand-alone system).
Could you tell me how can I install phpdev.zip on a pc which is a client in a network?

    Regards
