    Hi,
Is there any easy and quick way to check if a user got any/new mail with PHP?
assuming that the user's mailbox is on the same system and the system is UNIX (Linux,BSD, etc.)
    Thanks,
    ursus

If you know anything about Perl, you could download webmin ( http://www.webmin.com/webmin/ ) and port there Perl mail script to PHP. Just a suggestion, may be more trouble then worth.
