    Having submitted a form to a php page the url shows the username and password. Is there anyway I can prevent this from happening.

    For example: http://whatever.com/login.php3?usern...&password=pass

    Thanks

    Thanks for the response but I already have that in my form tags.

    I have also tried to change it to <form method="get"> without any success.

    The 'get' method is the ones that prints it out in the url. If you do:

    <form action="blah.php" method=POST>

    Then it wont print the info to the string. method=GET is what is messing you up here.

    If you post snippets of your code, it's usually a lot easier for people to spot mistakes or fixes.

    Yup, I guess you learn from your mistakes.

    I'll be posting code in the future.

    Cheers
