Okay, I've searched the past articles in this
group.. and didn't really find a satisfactory
Lots of talk about using bin64 encode/decode
and/or MD5 and/or Crypt... which I can understand the uses of MD5/Crypt for passwords and such..
But those last two do not allow for the "decryption" that would be necessary when passing "GET" statements, ie.. my.php?x=y&x=q
What I'm actually trying to do is encrypt the file and string that is being called.. so that the user hasn't a clue of "what file" nor "what string" is being executed.
I mean let's face it.. the user with half-a-brain can look at just about any website, and author themselves a shortcut into the site. Just by looking at the data contained in their URL/Location bar of their browser.
If that information is encrypted, via some means, then that become a bit difficult.. which is all we're wanting to do.
Any help, guidance, or tutorials on using MD5, or some other method would be helpful.
