Has anyone been able to configure Apache to server up php pages outside of the document root directory. I can't get a php script to work anywhere but the C:Apachehtdocs directory. I'd like to put my scripts into the cgi-bin directory if possible or create a new directory to serve php pages from.
    Is this possible?

For future reference, after re-writing perfectly fine php scripts to rule out bad programming and two days of head scratching and pleading for help, I've answered my own question. In addition to the ScriptAlias directive for the cgi-bin in Apache I included this directive, "Alias /cgi-bin/ C:/Apache/cgi-bin" and now my php scripts are being served from "C:/Apache/cgi-bin/".
    Glad that's over with. ;-)
