So what happenes when you are stuck in SQL?

    Huge site. Heavy traffic.

Not neccessarily 100% well done, but good enough to be working for past 5 years.

Everything is working fine with MVC, time goes really fast.

Bam! New requirements need some SQL that you just cant write, or maybe too hard to do in 1 query.

    What do you do?

Put some logic in model and ruin the nice code and loop the sql?

Tried. Even tried mysql.com forum. There are some amazing query writers there.
This seems to be very common. I sometimes have Rudy saying I have no idea! Some of these aps are reidiculously difficult. Mysql forum say change table structure----> Not possible.

There are some very wise folks on forums.mysql.com.
If your stuff is reidiculously (sic) difficult it's probably so because the table structure is wrong.

The choice then becomes change the table structure and make your query possible, or don't change it and use messy, inefficient workarounds.
    It's up to you.
