    Calculate the number of clicks on each ad


    Hi there,

    I'm developing an advertising website.

    I want calculate the number of clicks on each ad, but not know how do it!

    I'm looking for a solution that could distinguish humans from robots.

    What solutions are there?

    You can easily track clicks. Embed Google Analytics tracking codes on your target pages then add the Google URL tracking params to the url of your advertising banners.

    For example:

    http://www.mysite.com/advertising.html?&utm_medium=myMedium&utm_source=myAdverts&utm_campaign=myCampaign_2013

    See below to properly set this up:

    https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1033867?hl=en

    Then when someone clicks your ad, it gets picked up by the tracking code on your page. Next visit your Google Analytics account and look for the amount of clicks you get at the campaign level under "Traffic Sources."

    As the guy mention above,
    use $_GET and redirect the click to a page in your site, and the page in your site will redirect to the real URL
