copying a database

Is it possible to copy an entire PostgreSQL database from one computer to another? I don't want to sync them. I just want to make a different database with the info that's in the existing one.

I don't have access to the postgres user, I'm not the user who created the database, but I think I my PostgreSQLusername has superuser privileges.

You can just dump the database using the pg_dump utility. Try searching google for that. Also if you use phppgadmin you should be able to dump the db structure and info from there.

If you have specific rules/triggers/constraints make sure those get exported as well.
