Copying ORACLE DATABASE

Hi I'm trying to copy an existing oracle 9 database without exporting and reimportign all the data. I only have an SQL window to work with from a remote location. I'm also able to run local sql scripts. I could write a program to get db information and generate the copy. Is that the easyiest way?

I asked in here as i saw a comment that PostgreSQL was very similar to ORACLE
