Is it possible to create packages?

In PostgreSQL is it possible to create packages like in Oracle?
I'm newbi and it seems to me it's only possible to create functions but not packages and stored procedures.
    Thanks in advance!

No it's not possible unless you buy the commercial "PostgresPlus Advanced Server" from EnterpriseDB.

You can "simulate" something similar from a naming perspective by creating one schema per package. Of course that's only syntactical sugar then. You won't have package local functions or package variables.
I will not read nor answer questions where the SQL code is messy and not formatted properly using [code] tags.
